Because we know you are sending us the names of your friends and business associates, we promise to take good care of them.

The company you refer can try Helpside for free with no administrative fee for the first month of services.

Once your referral becomes a Helpside client, we will pay you $100 per employee at the company you refer, up to a maximum of $10,000 per client.

Everyone is eligible to participate in the Helpside Referral Program, whether you are a current client or just enjoy spreading the word about Helpside!

Helpside works primarily with companies headquartered in the Intermountain West (Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, etc.), but we have clients with employees in nearly every state.

Helpside offers robust, affordable group benefits packages specifically designed for small businesses. If a company offers or is interested in offering group benefits, Helpside can be a good solution.

Companies looking to grow are a good fit for Helpside. Our services create efficiencies that save time and money for small businesses, allowing them to focus on the growth and success of their company.

The best referrals for Helpside are to decision-makers in the organizations. These are typically people with decision-making authority over the areas we service such as payroll, human resources, employee benefits and risk management. This may be the Owner, CEO, CFO, Controller, HR Manager, Office Manager, etc.

What happens if I refer a company that is already a client of Helpside?

The Helpside Referral Program only applies to new businesses joining with Helpside. Current clients, former clients and companies with common ownership to current clients (sister companies) will not be eligible for the Helpside Referral Program.

How will I be notified of the status of my referral?

We will send you an email once we receive your referral and another email once two payrolls have been processed and your payment is available. If you have any questions you can always reach out to us at referrals@helpside.com.

How will I receive payment?

You will be paid via ACH on the 20th of the month following the date that the first two payrolls have been processed for your referral. So for example, if you refer a business that processes their second payroll with Helpside on June 25th, you will be paid on July 20th. You will need to create a referrer account on Helpside Tools, which includes your ACH information and W-9 tax information to process your payment. You’ll receive an invitation set up your referrer account after you submit your first referral.

How is the referral bonus calcluated?

You will be paid $100 per employee paid on your referral’s second payroll processed by Helpside, up to a maximum of $10,000. After the referred company becomes a Helpside client, you will not be paid for additional employees added. If you have any questions you can always reach out to us at referrals@helpside.com.

What are some reasons a referral bonus wouldn't be paid out?

Your referral payment may be denied if your referral:

  • decided not to partner with Helpside and never processed two payrolls
  • was already or previously was a Helpside client,
  • shared ownership with an existing Helpside client, or
  • was already referred by someone else.

Companies with common ownership to current Helpside clients are not eligible for the Helpside Referral Program. Only one referral is allowed per company, so the referral bonus will be paid to the person who provided the referral first.

Additionally, if you do not complete the online referrer account creation process through Helpside Tools we will be unable to provide payments for your referral.
